My name is Carl Christopher Anderson and I was born in Chicago proper, but raised in the suburbs of that great city.
Fascinated by both medicine and business early in life, I became a Certified Paramedic in 1990, at the same time founding my first home-based business CPR-A.L.E.R.T.™ I offered instruction and certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation. Soon after, I was introduced to the world, of what is now more properly defined as Social Marketing. I learned a tremendous number of life changing concepts and philosophies, especially the value of the Christian faith and the fact that “readers are leaders.”
I continued to pursue my entrepreneurial goals, and in mid-90′s, I launched another home-based business, the Advanced Tactical Training Institute™, offering private instruction in police defensive tactics and civilian self-defense. I was mentored primarily by the great Joe Truncale, one of the greatest police defensive tactics instructors of all time, among others. I began to pursue a new dream of being a law enforcement officer at this time and was able to serve proudly in the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service as both a Border Patrol Agent and an Immigration Inspector. I was one of the first Inspectors to become a Customs and Border Protection Officer under the newly formed Department of Homeland Security, as well.
After just under 7 years with the Federal Government, the entrepreneurial spirit was pulsing through my veins, and I left to become a co-owner of a ServiceMaster janitorial and commercial cleaning franchise during the years of 2004-2006. I also earned my Illinois Real Estate Broker’s License during that same time.
Many incredible events have occurred along my journey in this life, and currently, I am in pursuit of my nursing degree at Harper College in Palatine, Illinois with plans for medical school in the future! I plan to use this training to serve others and support my entrepreneurial pursuits.
I give all the thanks and glory to my Lord and Savior – Jesus Christ – for the incredible opportunities and most amazing people He has allowed into my life!
